Candid cream is an anti-fungal cream preparation manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. It is commonly used to treat yeast infections of the skin such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, and body ringworm.

The active ingredient is clotrimazole.

How to Use:
– Candid cream is usually used for two to eight weeks for fungal skin infections. Follow the directions on the package or your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.
– Use exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of it, or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
– To use the cream, thoroughly clean the infected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medication in until most of it disappears. Use just enough medication to cover the affected area. You should wash your hands after applying the medication.
– Use the cream for four weeks for athlete’s foot and two weeks for jock itch or body ringworm. If your symptoms do not improve by that time, stop using the medication and consult either a pharmacist or doctor.
